Sausage Joes
Yield: 6 servings
Ingredients
| 1 | lb. | roll pork sausage | |

| 1 | cup | onion, finely chopped | |
|
|
|||
| 1/2 | cup | green pepper, chopped | |
|
|
|||
| 1/4 | cup | tomato sauce | |
|
|
|||
| 1/2 | cup | chili sauce | |
|
|
|||
| 2 | teaspoons | Worcestershire sauce | |
|
|
|||
| 1 | teaspoon | hot pepper sauce | |
|
|
|||
| 8 | sandwich buns, split | ||
|
|
|||
| 4 | ounces | sharp cheddar cheese, shredded | |
|
|
|||
Directions:
In a large skillet, cook sausage, onion and pepper over medium high heat, stirring frequently until sausage is finely crumbled and no longer pink. Add tomato sauce; cover and cook 1 minute. Stir in chili sauce and Worcestershire. Remove from heat; season with hot pepper sauce. Serve on buns; sprinkle with cheese.
